« on: Thursday 04 March 04 14:10 GMT (UK) »
Looking for a David Walters b 1865 London/ Middx (as given in 1891 & 1901 Census). Father 'John Walters' (marriage Certificate).

Can't find him in 1881; Can't find his birth record in the GRO index at the library either. in 1891/1901 he is a navvy in Cornwall.

Anyone spotted him?

Hi Pauline

On the few counties that have been transcribed for the 1871 census on line there are 2 David Walters  - but as they are aged 7 months and 32 years niether of them fit your criteria.

There are 97 John Walters but don’t have any further info to narrow them down except, as he is the father of Walter, he must be 18 upwards – there are 68 of them.

Any further info to go on please ?

Chris, Unfortunately for me, that is it.
All I can do is hope that he turns up somewhere when the 1871 is transcribed country-wide. Wouldn't bet money on 'John Walters' being
anything more than words to fill the space anyway.
