I need to confirm the marriage of Sarah Mace (1767) to John Coxhead in 1799

Sarah lived in Little Compton

I can only find 1891 census which refers  Little Compton to Kineton

Hi,

I am just looking for either a bdm listing (too early i know but I hope you know what i mean) or parish listing but obviously if I can find out anything else it would be a bonus.

At present I only have second or possibly third hand information that I cant substantiate.

I cannot find John Coxhead or any other Coxheads in the area the rest of the family (Maces) are in. I would have expected them to go on and have children, but again I have found nothing.

I haven't got access to any census material for Warwickshire. But the 1891 census is listed in Gloucestershire.

I hope this makes sense!!

The 1841 census for Little Compton, Gloucestershire, has the following listing

John Coxhead 65 Ag Lab born in county
Sarah Coxhead 65 born in county
Dinah Mace 15 born in county.

Working back this is probably the father:Ch.26/6/1743/fa.John/ma.Ann.

Have 2 possibles for John Coxhead:
Ch.18/4/1762/fa.Zachrey/ma.Sarah/Little Compton
Ch.25/4/1773/fa.Zachary/ma.Ann/Little Compton
Looks like Zac. remarried about 1764.
