Death Records

I'm asking this knowing the the answer is probably no but any suggestions will be appriciated.

I'm searching for a death entry for Mildon Darlington. He was born in 1912 and there is no record of his death in the fully transcribed 1983 - 2006 records so i'm slogging through the death records from 1955 onwards. This would put his age at death at over 43.

Is there a quicker way of doing this? I have tried on Ancestry but it found nothing as it seems rather poor on anything younger than 1901!!

Suggestions appriciated.

The BMD's are free on Ancestry. You need to look at the Complete BMD's and not the partial ones. However you still have to slog through them quarter by quarter.
