McClelland family

Hi.
Is anyone researching the McClelland family?
I was told my grandmother ELLEN JANE MCCLELLAND was born in Holywood Co Down Ireland,but after much reseach have been unable to find her birth c 1890.All I know is from her married certificate,she married Selling Kent 1918 aged 28 to a Charles Pack and if gave her father as David deceased.My grandfather's family were from Kent and maybe my grandmother was in service in Kent.
I was wondering if in fact my grandmother came from Scotland or maybe members of her family?
