Bankrupt Company, - any ideas where to look?

Hi,

I have been trying to find out more about my Grandfather William James Wilson's Painting & decorating business, 'Wilson & Co'.

In Kelly's Directory for South Wales, (1918) it's listed as being run from 93 St. Helens Road, Swansea.

I've been unable to find any further listings, & family rumour has it that the Company went bust sometime in the late 1920's/early 1930's, following a fire in a school. (Possibly they weren't insured adequately enough).

Has anyone on here got any ideas as to where else I could try looking to find out more?

Try searching the London Gazette:
http://www.gazettes-online.co.uk/archiveSearch.asp?; lots are listed although I don't know if they all are, or a local newspaper, if you can access one easily.
