Looking for descendants of John Dobson, erstwhile clothier and travelling draper, born 1818 in Edinburgh and then married to Faith Chapman of Scalby in 1845.

I'd REALLY like to know his father too! And yes ... I KNOW it was another John Dobson, who was ALSO a clothier, but I have no dates or other details for him at all.

Ideas anyone?
