Or it could be a Welsh thing Kev....
I've been having a conversation about Welsh families always calling themselves by their middle names  ::) so much so that some families, even today, didn't realize that they did it until I asked the question
- so keep an open mind (as always with family research) !  but it does seem to be something that I have found to be a Gaelic thing  :-\
However if no one else on that census called themselves by a middle name.......who knows, just thought I'd mention it
Wendi  :)

Hi Wendi,

Thanks for pointing this out!!

I've found it over and over again on the Welsh side of my family, & didn't realise that it was a common thing. (My father for example never used his first name, but was always known by his middle one;-)

Best Wishes,
Romilly.
