Kena. It would be easier to photocopy and send to you direct than try and give a synopsis.
It talks about him being granted the lands of Traquair by the King and then shortly after selling them for a paltry sum of about £5 in two instalments.I assume this is the Rodger you are interested in ?  There is anpther Rodgers but he was the local hangman!!

Hi Avril, a couple of years ago I visited the Scottish Borders on holiday and did a tour of graveyards so you may not find much more than I have now, places I visited included Traquair (and the house), Peebles and nearby Manor, my greatgrandmother was born in Newcastleton, Roxburghshire which is my Borders connection, I live in Staffordshire.
