Greenwoods Map of London 1827
« Reply #9 on: Friday 23 March 07 17:01 GMT (UK) »
Found this today, very interesting, but accessing via Bath Spa Uni site is the only way I could get the map.

The site has been live since 1998, so probably lots of you already know of it, however it was updated a couple of years ago.

Just realised someone else beat me to this by about 30 minutes.  How did we both manage to find this odd site today!  Spooky.

All,
I have a rather useful page of links to London maps @ http://londonpublichouse.com/MapsofLondon.shtml - most point back to MAPco http://archivemaps.com/mapco/london.htm, but I also have a few additions; plus the greenwood map which is rather useful.
