William's age seems to vary a bit as well. If it is him that died 1893 Mar qtr Dartford it gives his age as 62 which means birth year c1831, whereas 1861 census has him aged 24, birth year 1837.

Thanks - Pretty sure it's 1831
1891 census has his age as 60 which would suggest 1831, am wondering if in 1861 he gave the younger age for some reason. Will check others.

Thank you - don't have exact address for Heath Lane, but in 1891 they were living at 42 Heath Street, and in 1881 at 18 West Street.

Would be great to know if they're still standing, as long as it's not out of your way,

Found this marriage of a William (looks to be) OMDEN in 1855 at Ash next Ridley (nr Dartford).  Obviously it's not to Eliza (to a Kezia GREEN bc1834)  but I wonder if he could be yours
