I hope I have done this properly and can get the photos up.

Is anyone able to identify these uniforms please.

Hi Tuscany,

What we could really do with is some detailed scans just of the cap badges, that's the important part for ID'ing the regiment.

Any chance you can scan the originals again, just focusing on the badges and at the highest resolution you can without the filesize getting too big (you're allowed to attach photos up to 500KB)

Hi Chris,
Not convinced we are looking at a Guardsman here.
The facing colours (ie collar) should be dark blue for guards I thought.

I agree the badge looks similar though  ;)
Cheshire, Worcesters as other possibles  ???
