Does anyone have any information about a William Phillips of Woodstock around 1790, when he was was bailed for the sum of ten pounds to appear and answer to a charge against him of ‘fathering a yet-to-be-born baby in the body of an Ann Webb out of lawful matrimony’ . Ann Webb was from Hook Norton.
