I've looked at the 1871 census for William and Annie and the entry for Grace could read DARBY.

In the 1861, there is a family called DERBY in Thrussington (I think -it's very faded) with a daughter Grace aged 1. They are

William farmer of 40 acres aged 43
Ann his wife, 39
Edward 15 farmer's son
Eliza 13 farmer's daughter
Emma 10
William 9
Elizabeth 8
Martha 8
Fanny 7
Samuel 5
Priscilla 3
Grace 1

All born Thrussington
Living at what looks very much like Darbys Lodge

For what it's worth.

Jan
