Hi Newbie, those brick walls seem to go right round Berkshire and Wiltshire, the reason why we kept getting lost there last year at this time.

Thanks for your kind offer of lookups:

There are plenty of HIBBARDS' in both Counties.

Daniel HIBBARD b1721 in Little Somerford, Wiltshire & married twice in East Ilsley, Elisabeth ? and Mary HEATH

First Marriage:Betty, William, Thomas and Ann years 1752/1757.

Second Marriage: Michel, John, Ann & Daniel years 1771/1782.

A lovely lady in Clanfield, Dorothy WISE was going to do some research for us.

Thanks again,

Les.

Hi newbie
Thank you for your kind offer to do lookups. I have a major brick-wall concerning a James Tasker with very little to go on.   I have his birth place as Oxford City and Buckinghamshire these being on his transportation reports but on his trial documents at the Berkshire Assizes his parish of residence is listed as South Hinksey.  He was born around c.1785 and was 35 when transported.  I believe he may have been married by that age.  Any information you can find will be greatly appreciated :) :)

Hi Newbie
Thanks for the offer.

I am looking for mentions census of

Martha Sara LAMBDEN/LAMSTEN . Streatly, Berks 1860
daughter of
James LAMBDEN b1833 Baughurst, Hants
Sarah E LAMBDEN b1834 Lambeth, Surrey

In 1881 the family lived still in Streatley, so I imagine that is where they are from 1861 onwards.

Please accept my apologies if I have asked you this one before...I'm loosing track.

Thanks
Nellie

Hi Juddee,
I will be happy to do the look up for you, but unfortunately I went yesterday! Won't be going until mid January is that okay - a New Years presy!
If I do go before will do it then. Traffic in Reading is hell!
