Hi Newbie

Ditto what Judee said. It's kind of you to look, so there's no rush.

Thanks

Hello Nellie, I went today so perhaps it is a Christmas presy...
No sign of those three Lambden/Lamsten in the 1861 at Streatly, I checked very carefully all of Streatley and just to make sure did so again, only Lambden I found ..
RG9/742 folio 126 page 13
Henry Lambden, 52, Head, Marr, Ag Lab, b Hants Mortimer West
Martha Lambden, 52, Wife, b Hants Baughurst
Frederick Hawkins, 17,Nephew, Shepherd, b Hants Baughurst.

Address - cottage adjoining Rectory Farm.

there is no index to the 1861 so wasn't able to look elsewhere for you.
Newbie.

Thanks Newbie

Yes, that is a bit of an early Christmas present.
Henry and Martha are I believe the parents of the James Lambden that I was looking for. Frederick Hawkins is the uncle of young Martha.

That's excellent.

Thanks again

Nellie

Hi Newbie

Are you still planning on going to the Berkshire Record Office this month?

The reason I ask is that I have been contacted by a REAL LIVE RELATIVE and direct descendant  of James Tasker and his son William, the same line as myself.   I cannot believe my luck after all these years of searching   ;D ;D ;D  We are in the process of exchanging info on the family and I am hoping to have a little more to give you which could make your search easier.

Thanks again for your kind offer and a very happy and healthy New Year to you.
