Hi Stevenson

Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.

Have you had a look at all the usual resources I tend to suggest?  ;)

The General Register Office of Ireland

The Public Record Office of Northern Ireland

Irish Roots

The National Library of Ireland

Irish Genealogy

Genealogical Society of Ireland

Irish Ancestors

National Archives of Ireland

Perhaps you would like to have a look at these resources to see if there is anything that might help you.

Please come back with any further queries or to let us know how you get on.

Best wishes

Ticker

Every bit of information is always worth looking at Annie ........

our Sarah Twig was born in 1879 her mother also called Sarah Twig was born in 1857ish she never married and we can not find her(only on the 1901 census)......... :'(

Hi,
I know you will have tried all sorts of avenues but ...
If  you 'google'  Twigg (I know it's double gg) but there are Twiggs around the area still. One is featured because of his job. Perhaps contacting someone who still lives around there - they might have extended family information.
There were Twiggs in Griffiths although not at Doagh.
Hope you are successful this year.

Thank you Heywood

I google and keep getting things about tree's.... :-[

We might pluck up courage and try to speak to some living Twig's but there are not many left in the area.

We danced around Proni like idiots when we found her in 1901 in Holestone........staff all smiles.........(they must see people losing the plot every day).

It will feel like winning the lotto when we find her.

Thank you
Steve
