COMPLETED: The Barracks, Lochwinnoch
« on: Wednesday 28 March 07 18:18 BST (UK) »
Dear All,
Please can anyone tell me: -
When were the Barracks built?
Would they have been there for WW1?
If so does anyone know which regiments were based there?

I have a ggrandfather who was living in Lochwinnoch and joined the Royal Garrison Artillery in WWI and I was wondering if he would have joined up and completed his training at The Barracks.

Thanks and best regards,
Yvonne
