CORNELIUS MC HUGH MARRIED THOMASINA MALONE RENFREWSHIRE 1924
HIS FATHER NEIL MCHUGH MARRIED BRIDGET DUNLEAVY 1876 marriage cert names father as CONN MCQUE  AND MOTHER AS MARY FISHER I THINK THEY MUST HAVE BEEN IN IRELAND, AS NEIL IS ON 1871 CENSUS AS BOARDER WITH BRIDGET'S FAMILY AND HIS PLACE OF BIRTH IS IRELAND CAN'T SEEM TO FIND ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT THEM

I have just looked for these on SP and couldn't find them
Just started looking on ancestry
but I dont have membership so cant view anyway
dont suppose it say's were in Ireland Neil was born
I cant find anything on them before they came to scotland

i found them on the 1891 as mccue

the 1901 as mchugh

the 1881 as mckew

have you followed the footsteps of neil's brother patrick?

he was in 22 staners, greenock, boarding with the conaghan family.

aged 30 and labourer at iron works

there are so many spellings of these names
I never thought to try the mckew one
 I looked for Patrick as well
but couldn't find him
I think I need to start looking for them again
I had given up hope of finding them
