Poor relief/ Poorhouse Islay

Could anyone help please? Would there have been listings or information on a poorhouse about 1823-1827 I have a Florence/Flora maiden name Gilchrist who married a William Walker who died 1823-1827 I am sure she went back to Islay where she married again James Forbes 1827 Kilarrow in the mean time I should like to know if she applied for poor relief any help appreciated. :)

The only place I can think of where there are poor relief records is in the Mitchell library in Glasgow.
