Could any one please help in finding any information of my great grandmother Lucy Leggat.  1889?
Married William Toon - Jan 25th 1914.

Hiya what was Lucys Fathers name and occupation on marriage cert?And was she born in Leicestershire or arent you sure?Let me know and i will have a look.

I dont Lucys Mother or Fathers name.

I don't know where she was born, only that she married William toon in Leicestershire.

Hi I have just been on 1837 to look at the details of the marriage here they are

Marriage Jan qtr 1914 Billesdon 7a 49
Bride: Florence L Leggett
Groom: William Toon

With this info you could order the cert to get more info on there parents

If this is correct then it looks as though Florence may have been illegitimate. Her birth certificate will confirm.
