Can anyone suggest where I could find info/photo re History of the Village Markfield- Leicestershire.

Tried Local History Group, Local Council's, Records Office. Havn't found much on www.

Going to try Parish.

Am trying to find some history/informations /photos  around 1920s.Particularly looking for some of the Institute 128 Main Street Markfield ,originaly part of Dandy Hayes farm.
I have cavaliers and bearded collies.It is very painful I know to lose a special friend .I hope you can Open your heart again to another.

We did we got a rescued greyhound and named him Bobby
