Young Dad or Granddad !!!!!

Could anyone have a go at dating this photo please,on the back is my fathers writing saying "Granddad aged 16" ,but was he referring to my grandfather or himself to my children .

Hi Tsumi....there are two entries in Kelly's Directory for Vanderbilt Photographers of Liverpool...1827 & 1929....What a handsome man

I think it must be mid to late 1920s. I'm in the middle of doing a restore of on this one of my Dad and his brothers which is around 1925. Note the knitted tie and collar pin.

I've de-sepia-ed it for restoring but it was brown originally

As for being handsome, all his life he looked drop dead gorgeous,well into his 80,s he was fit and never looked his age .
