Thank you again Sandy.

While I can see on 1851 census in Wollaston John Packwood 1825 Wilby & wife Ann plus children Naomi & Mary H;  when I look at 1861 the same John Packwood now has wife Elizabeth b 1819 Wollaston plus John Boaz b 1852 & Karenhappuch.

Can you see a burial of wife Ann (& perhaps children Naomi & Mary H - as I cannot find them in 1861) & a marriage of William Packwood to Elizabeth.

Next question would be is John Boaz 1852 son of 1st wife Ann or 2nd one Elizabeth

cheers John

Well I guess this is John's 2nd marriage.

From the Northants Marriage Indexes.

Northampton St. Edmund
26 Jan 1858
John PACKWOOD otp, [138 Wellingborough Road], widower, full age, tailor, father William, tailor to
Elizabeth SHELTON otp, [138 Wellingborough Road], spinster, full age, father Thomas, shoemaker

It seems he married his 1st wife's sister.

Hi again John.

I can not help with the rest of your queries, although I am
sure others here can.

I went over to Wollaston today and found a few of your family
Partridge  graves although I do not know where they come
into your tree.  :)

Do you have them from the Church or Cemetery.

There are also Shelton and Packwood, yet none seem to be the
main folk you are seeking.

I had to abandon half way through as the heavens opened. LOL.

Thanks Sandy;  so John Packwood married Elizabeth Shelton in 1859. so (John) Boaz 1852 & Karenhappuch 1854 must be children of 1st wife Ann. Although no burials at Wollaston for her in the NBI, there is a death index in 1854 in Wellingborough RD that could fit her.

As to Partridges buried at Wollaston, I'm just going through a list of them I got from the NBI so see if any are in my tree. I suppose I should go & look in the graveyard. I travel between Northampton & Bromham, it's not far out of the way.

It's nearer you than me John, as the crow flys.

When I sort them out I will list for anyone else who maybe
following the lineages.

This is John Sargeant Partridge born 1859 Wollaston, son of Benjamin & Frances Pratt. Benjamin 1825 is son of John Sargeant Partridge 1795 & Ruth Colson.

He married Rebecca Lovell in Mar quarter 1877 in wellingborough RD - assume this is Wollaston - do you have the marriage Sandy?, Rebecca was daughter of Charles & Ann Lovell, wheewright, born Hinwick Beds.
