So have you found him on the 1891 Census?

If so how was he recorded?  The 1001 question did it say pensioner?

the person i am trying to find more info on is thomas samuel b.1859 ish.he was in the 24th regiment of foot and i believe he was in the boar war 1881 ish.

thanku for enquiring,i have him on census,and his children,the bit i needed help with was his time in the army,my relative who is his grandaughter,her memory isnt what it was and she has good days and bad,i'm trying to get info as and when i can,that is why sometimes bits are wrong.comes with old age.
