Hello russhall,  Welcome to Rootschat.

Maybe your grandparents knew the gt grandparents of Ron Maxey.

The drawing is from the book Biddenham A parish History & Guide - by Dorothy Richards published 1991. I do not know if it is available - I got mine from Ebay, but I think it is Bedford library. The book does have other pictures.

The name Hall appears 3 times,

Bill Hall was a police messager between the wars.
Ethel Hall is pictured twice, one in 1930s May Day celebration & again in 1950 Biddenham choral society.
Robert Hall senior pictured in WW2 fire service 1942 crew

regards John

Do get all on-line info before your visit to our cold Bedfordshire, Rooney!

Bedfordshire Archives is on line - so is the 19th C Bedford Gaol...then you will save your time up for info that can't be found on line  ;)

The 1803 National Defence Musters [French Wars which lists all males aged 17 - 55] for Biddenham did survive so if you have the family name you can get the details on line.

Have a nice visit to Bedford
