Can some one please  check to see if there is a Joseph Searles born abt   1865,  still  living  in  Woolwich, in 1901, he married  in Woolwich in 1892,  also  a  Gladys  Searles  born in Woolwich  in  1894,there is a possibility  that Gladys is Joseph  daughter.

There's a Gladys Searles or Scarles, aged 6, in Plumstead, in 1901, but the father's name is Lawrence. The only Joseph Searles in London is 19, born in Cardiff and living in Islington.

I tried looking for Joseph Scales etc, in case he was transcribed wrongly but nothing obvious leapt out, sorry.
