gv.JG after Persons Name !!!

Hi All,

On 1861 Census for Bexley Heath RG9 465 Folio 65 Welling

Mary Groves gv.JG un 28 Kent Bexley and three sons.  Head was George Pitts also un Kent Bexley.

Anybody have any inklings what gv.JG could mean !!!!!

Ideas appreciated.

I don't suppose you could scan the image so we can see?

It would appear to be in the "relation to head of house" column on the enumeration form.

Mary GROVES gV.JG (that's what it looks like) Un 28 do do
George GROVES son 7 do do
John Do son 3 do do
Henry do son 1 do do

If you can tell me how to attach a picture, I could cut it and you could try to read the hard bits
