Dixie - I had a look on IGI and found that Janet Russell, daughter of John Russell and Sarah Wilson, was christened 14.06.1861 at Hyde Park, Antrim.   I remember you mentioned Hydepark Presbyterian and Hydepark Methodist and the possibility that some ancestors may have been members - it seems you were right and I guess there may be other entries I should be looking for!   Would you know of a site that I could browse on to find those particular churches?          grossan

Glad those are working in for you.
About a family surname being inserted with the first names, my grandfather's siblings, on my mother's side, about half of them have their mother's maiden name as part of their first names. It's handy, it gives you an idea you're on the right track. Don't know how popular the custom is today.
Don't know of a Co Antrim site for church records. If there is an LDS Family History centre near you they can be ordered, for a small fee, to read at the centre.
Don't know if these Wilsons will work in, but there's a good chance there is a family connection.

yeah the wilsons burried in the mullask ceminintry are the ones you are looking for they come from a place called ballyvesey they attended the carminey pres church i have manymany to trace them back to the mids 1700 is there specifics ones you are looking for

Thanks for your interest.   I am keen to trace back from Elizabeth Wilson - christened 13.12.1795 at Carnmoney.   Her parents are shown on an IGI entry as Robert Wilson and Margaret Ferguson.   Do your records include Elizabeth and her ancestors back to the mid 1700s?   If so I would be extremely happy and grateful to have any leads you can give me      grossan
