Hi David

What have you tried so far?  It would appear they are at TNA  ???

Hi Wendi

Many thanks for your interest. I have managed to find his file reference on www.a2.org.uk and have put a new posting to ask if anyone is going to the British Library to do some research, and would be willing to do a look up for me. Lt-Cmdr de Woolfson was a member of my wife's family and she has been handed down his military dress sword. We would love to have his service records to go with it.

Regards
David

Hi David,

I'm sure with a rank like that there would be info on him at The British Library, however his service record, and I am sure it does exist, would be at The National Archives, at Kew in London, however it would need a personal visit or the services of a researcher.

How wonderful for you to have his sword!
