James Scarth - Ann Richardson marriage
« on: Wednesday 11 April 07 09:31 BST (UK) »
Looking for the exact marriage details between James Scarth and Ann Richardson. They were married sometime between 1891 and July 1894 the date of James death.  James was shown as living in St Helier on the 1891 census.

Thanks

Kevin

Hi Kevin

There is an entry in the index for St Helier Church marriages for James Scarth, Sep 1891 - Sep 1895, page 33. There is an entry on the same page for Annie Richardson.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Stewart. At least I know the actual church

James certainly didn't live very long after his marriage.  May be someone will see it in the actual registers.

Thanks again

Kevin

They only have the indexes at the Archive centre from c 1847. You have to send away for the actual certificate from the Registrar in Jersey (see www.gov.je).

Do you require the death details for James? If so I can get them for you.

Thanks. Would someone be able to look at the actual church marriage registers to get the details?
If there are details on his death readily available then that would be good. Don't put your self to much trouble though
