Hi
Could any help find a William Goddard and his wife Fanny on the 1841 census.  I'm sure that they were living there in 1836 as their daugther Elizabeth Ann was buried there.

Hi

No Fanny/Frances Goddard in Bucks on the 1841.  There are only 2 William Goddards who were old enough to have fathered a child in 1836 - one is married to Mary & the other to Georgina

Hi Carole

Thanks for the quick reply and for your help - it looks like I'll have to look elsewhere

Thanks again Geoff

Do you know if they had any other children born pre-1841

Hi Carole

Yes - John Goddard born in Windsor 1810, George William Goddard was born in High Wycombe about 1814 as was Elizabeth Ann 1816.  I have the baptism for John and Elizabeth but have never found George - typically the one I really want!

Hi

Sorry - I thought  I may have been able to track them using the childrens names but they are too old to be living at home in 1841 - George was in Surrey in 1851 with a 10 year old daughter b Middlesex

Hi Carole

Thanks again. I've got all the census info apart from the 41. I know his first daughter was born in Marylebone just before the census but could never find the record. I was hoping William and Fanny were still in Bucks but it now doesn't seem likely.
