William GADD - Monte Casino and Manchester

William Gadd was killed in the battle of Monte Casino in 1944, he was son of Emily and ?Robert? Gadd, from Harper Hey, Manchester. His Siblings were Violet, Joyce, Rose, and Walter. Does anyone have any more info on him???

I have moved this thread to the Lancashire board, a you already have one on the Armed Forces & this might give you a wider audience.

Have you looked for a birth for any of these folk?  Their birth certs would give parents' names & should get you started.
