( dont have any marriage details for Mary)

The above address was taken fron the death registration of her brother in which she was the infomant, in 1936

Any information would be greatly appreciated,

Sorry i didn't find a marraige for Msry but i did get her death in 1945 and according too tht she was married twice 1st too Samual Kerr a cabinet maker
then too John Samson

Thanks for that information, Makes me wonder why she used the name Sneddon in1936 when she registered her brother John Mitchell's Death,

Marriage 1

Samuel Kerr Cabinet Maker aged 21 married Mary Mitchell aged 18 on 17th June 1885  

Samuel Kerr's parents were Samuel Kerr, Railway Engine Driver and Sarah Kerr nee Craig

Mary Mitchell parents were Francis Mitchell Iron Turner and Ann Mitchell nee Keys

Samuel died 24 March 1916 aged 52 at 151 Pollok street Glasgow


Marriage 2


John Sneddon aged 62 ( cannot read the occupation) Widower married Mary Kerr nee Mitchell aged 64 on 30 November 1931  in the presence of David  and Catherine Cohan nee Bolton


John Sneddon's parents called Thomas sneddon Shipyard labourer and Jane Sneddon nee Bolton

cheers Moscan, I have looked on scotlands people before sevrel times and never managed to find anything other than her birth,
this is most appreciated and I had not yet checked the census records, been busy doing housework since i read the posts
My Douglas's I have wrote to the Northen constiution anc chronicle so keeping my fingers crossed they said it should be in this weeks papers,:P
