Where were they Buried?
« on: Sunday 15 April 07 08:52 BST (UK) »
Hi ;)

Have recently been to Breedon on the Hill again and visited the church graveyard and did find Hannah Tivey (Grandaughter to John & Ann) died 1877. Hannah's aunt & uncle were also there Jane Frearson (Nee Tivey) died 1890, Abraham Frearson died 1885.  Next to Jane's grave is that of her sister Frances Franks (nee Tivey) died 1893.

I am looking for the resting place  parents of Jane and Frances' parents John Tivey died 1867 Worthington and Ann (nee Edwards) died 1858. They may also be at Breedon but the Grave stones may have perished

I am also looking for the resting place of Jane's brother Thomas born 1811 died  1896 Belton and his wife Elizabeth (Nee Wardle) who died 1894.
Many Thanks
Jan

Hellooo Mike ;)

Yes Please!

If it is any help, in the 1891 census they are residing at Hill Parks in Belton, RG12/2517; Folio 71; Page 1. Transcribed as Tivy.

I think John & Ann would be under the Ashby de la Zouch district...........do you have those as well?

Cheers

Hi Mike!

This is so Fab!

We just had a hunch they would be at Breedon and the age of John makes so much more sense now, the GRO quotes aged 81 at death which we couldnt tie in, now the burial record makes such a big difference, his age is more acurate!

I will look into Thomas & Elz at a later date,

Thanks so much! (AGAIN)

Cheers
