Birth of John Gallacher - Glasgow 1876?

I am looking for the birth inforamtion for a John Gallacher, born in the Glasgow area in the late 1870s. His father was also John Gallacher and his mother was Mary Ann Gallacher (nee Fiford). I have tried searching on the Scotland GRO website, but there are loads of John Gallachers and it's getting expensive looking at each entry one by one. Is there a better way of tracking this one down?

Two possibles........These were the only two John Gallachers born to a John and Mary between the years 1874-1881 in the 1881 census.  There was one other but, he was born Coatbridge.  Hope this might help in narrowing it down.

Thanks for checking that - however, I know that they were in London in 1881. Mary was from London - they were married there in 1875, but their eldest son (John) was, like his father, born in Glasgow.

I think John was most likely born in 1876.
