Hi All,

Can someone please tell me the best way to purchase a Marriage Certificate of my father's great grandparents.

Charles Gillespie married Agnes Adams 19 march in Girvan in Ayr.

The Source Call number is 1041380 and the Batch number in M115945.

I live in Launceston Tasmania.

Have just done a basic search on Scotlandspeople.gov.uk.

There is one hit for Charles Gil*p* with spouse Adams 1842 - 1844 County Ayr.

You should be able to download the parish record page for this.
Pay per view is £6 for 30 credits, but no doubt once you've found this one there'll be more you need to look at :-)

Dear Wendy,

You need to

go to www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk;

buy a few credits (the minimum purchase will do);

search under Old Parish Registers/Banns & Marriages 1553-1854 using the info you have provided here (leave out the source call and batch numbers which do not apply here)
 
...and you will be able to download the image for a total of 6 credits (1 for the page of results, and another 5 for the image itself).
