And you can discount son Thomas from the list of children for Soloman and Agnes. He looks to also have died in 1861:

hi monica
the 1851 census for port glasgow has elizabeth married to a matthew davis
and martha living at their house
no mention of the rest of the family
maybe they already started moving to other areas will check it out, There is a few names on that census I have seen else where so I think I better start digging
