Agnes Shaw b about 1755 Inverness

She supposedly maried Alpin Grant on 2 July 1776. Her parents supposed to be Alexander Shaw and Jean Munro (married 19 Jul 1748). Any info welcome.

I cant find the birth of Agnes Grant anywhere, tried OPR's on Scotlands people too but nothing!!

However I found a birth as below on IGI :-

Alpin Grant was born about 1737  Glenmoriston, Urquhart, Inverness, Scotland and died 16 SEP 1811.

His Parents were  Father:-  Patrick Grant  and Mother: -  Isobel Grant

Yes, I have some info about her husband Alpin, and her father Alexander Shaw, but nothing on her mother, or any siblings. Somewhere I found a marriage between for Alexander to a Jean Munro, 19 Jul 1748 in Glenisla, but that is in Angus, and Alexander seems to have lived his life in Inverness. Info from a book on major Alpin's Ancestors and Descendents (1904) -- no idea how authoritative that is. Have searched Scotlands People and the IGI.
