Mason City is in Iowa...so you do not have Annie on any censuses, then?
There are several in U.S. who can help you out, there....J.J.

I'm a curious Nel, so I couldn't help but look for her in 1881...Is that Annie with the Walkers in 1881 Fitzroy, Carleton, Ontario? The only one I could find of the right age...born Scotland...with a Robert and Margaret  If this is the family that adopted her before moving to the U.S......it is a large one already already....( 10 children)
If this is the correct family for her, and she stayed with them, or near them,...she can be found on all the censuses up to her death....

In the 1920 US Census William H. Walker is living in Omaha Nebraska, Phys. & Surgeon.  He lists his age as 49 and born in Canada.  He immigrated to US in 1902.
