Florence/Findon marriage 1791 Preston Baggot

I have from IGI record George Florence and Susanna Findon married in Preston Baggot Warwick 11 Oct 1791 - can anyone help with a DOB + whereabouts for George please, my searches are taking me no where!

Looking at the IGI info. George didn't come from Preston Bagot as there are no Florences there before his marriage.The largest family are in Holy Trinity Stratford-on-Avon about 5 mls. away and the Findons are mostly in Claverdon about 1 mile away.It may be that the records are impossible to read,which some are.As you have a specific date for his marriage I suggest you email War.CRO as that is where the records are kept and ask them for all the information particularly witnesses as often siblings took this role,they will do this free of charge.You may then be able to find his parents from them.

As they aren't in 1841 cen. I looked in the NBI and found this death:
George Florence.d.3/3/1826 aged 57/Preston Bagot
This would put his birth abt.1769

Just out of interest Susanna married again to William White 20/1/1836/Preston Bagot.

Well Jim, surprise surprise, I received a reply from WarwickCRO this morning but now I'm 'gobsmacked',  excuse me!  The reply is as follows

You are searching for the birth records of George Florence and Susanna
Findon, you believe they were married in Preston Bagot, Warwickshire on 11
October 1791 and you would like to find the names of the witnesses and also
the date of birth of this couple.

I have searched the parish register for marriages for Preston Bagot, there
are no marriages entered in the register between 1790 - 1794, I was able to
search up to 1800 but I could not see any marriage for a George Florence
Susanna Findon.

Well my search has definitely taken me nowhere    Back to the drawing board methinks

They may have married in Claverdon or the date you have is wrong,although if George was born c.1769 it would seem about right.I think you would have to go to the RO yourself and search surrounding Parishes including Stratford-on-Avon.
