Brickwall: MOORE Family, Ipswich 1810s
« on: Monday 23 April 07 10:13 BST (UK) »
In our tree we have a Lydia Moore, born in Ipswich around 1808-1812 (her age on census and certificates varies).

She went into service and moved around the country and I'm trying to trace her family.  The only reference to her origins is on her Marriage Certificate where she gives her father's details as "Samuel Moore", occupation "Bailiff", but I have had no luck in tracing him in the 1841 census.

I have not managed to find a baptism for Lydia, either.

Can anyone help?  I should be grateful for any leads.

Thank you.
