Peace Celebration parade, Sunderland 1919

Wounded soldier PENSON.

A photo of the parade (from Sunderland Echo book “Canny and Sunderland”) shows a carriage carrying nurses and wounded soldiers, one of whom I am trying to trace.  His participation suggests local connection, regiment or roots. Preliminary checks at nearby Kew ("burnt", disability and medal records) have yet to reveal any obvious contenders for first name, rank or regiment. Any suggestions?
