English censuses disappeared from Ancestry!

Has this happened to anyone else (just in the last few minutes)? Welsh, Scottish and Channel Island censuses are still there, but none for England :o

Bring 'em back!

Hi Anna

No, I'm on the England census at the moment, Ancestry does do funny things to different people from time to time though!

LOL :D

It does do odd things, doesn't it?  I can go directly to an English census, but if I just search for a named person (common surname, born Middlesex) through the home page it comes up only with non-English hits.  Hmmm...

No doubt it will stop sulking with me soon!

The problem I'm having with it now is that I have just found 5 census returns on British Origins which I just cannot find on Ancestry.

No sense or is that nonsense!!!!!

Hi

I have had this problem since 15:00pm today it is now 19:00pm and still dont have full access to the census as we should.

I can only search the English Decades one by one and not in multiples.

I'm having this problem too, but I've discovered I can search all the English censuses together by clicking "UK Census Collection" in the "More Collections" list.

But I'm not able to do a blanket search of all UK records (census, BMD etc) all at the same time.

If you go to Ancestry.com that is working properly but .co.uk is all over the place and full BMD indexes keeps having fits.

Hi,
Thanks for the help It's been driving me nuts. I had hoped it would have sorted itself by now. I have emailed them, but whenever I have tried before it has got me nowhere. I just get a patronising automated email, which doesn't answer the question.
