Tanfield Look up for Rod BOYD

Hi Rod,
Sorry but I inadvertantly lost your message and could not post results to you.

You asked about the Bapt & parentage of Joseph BOYD about 1784.
I've checked the Tanfield transcripts from 1772 -1790 and there is not one BOYD baptism on record.

I did have a look for a BOYD marriage prior to 1784 & found these.
Joseph BOYD married Isobel BROWN, both of this Chapel, on the 9th Oct 1772.
George BOYD married Mary HARRISON, both of this Chapel, on the 5th Sept 1778.

Dissenters records only give two BOYD baptisms.
15th Aug 1761, John s/o George BOYD of Tanfield
8th Oct 1763, William s/o George BOYD of Tanfield.
