Looking for burial of Emma Haywood. Please help
« on: Thursday 26 April 07 11:38 BST (UK) »
Emma Haywood born 1820 Orton on the hill. Died 1901 pos in June??? Certainly after 1901 census.

She was from Orton and lived her life there but in 1901 she was living with her daughter Hannah Booton in Sheepy Magna. She is registered in her death in Atherstone.

I want to find out where this lady was buried. I know she is not buried in Orton so it must be Atherstone or Sheepy Magna.

Please can you help. We are visting the area soon as it is where most of my ancestors seem to be from. This lady Emma (My G.G Grandma) is the one who interests me the most.

I would love to find out where she is now.

Many thanks all.
Orton on the hill--- Haywood, Cart,
Bolton--- McGreavy, Brophy, Grant, Burrows, Taylor, Clarke
Lichfield--- Whetton,

If you visit web site www.boulstridge.co.uk/genealogy and look for Sheepy Magna and then burials you will find all you ask for and more. There is a gravestone for your ancestors but as you say you are going to visit in the near future I will not spoil your discovery, unless of course you want me to.
