What sort of match is this?  Search Thomas Pen?wood exact match is ticked but even if it wasn't results Dan Thomas / Sister Thomas.  Couldn't it just say it couldn't find anything.

You ask - what sort of match is this? Where have you found this match? Which website, if it is a website did you search?

I take it you are searching for Thomas Pen?wood, are you searching for a baptism, birth record, marriage or death?

Ok, maybe I wasn't clear - I found it on this web site; roots chat just incase you got here via another root, and I was looking through the 1841 census.
