Hello Macdougall,

Not sure if you have this information but posting it anyway.

Grace McDonald died June 15th 1916 (Neil having predeceased her) at Kilmolang Tyree, Argyll.

Hector her son was the informant and registered the death

Her parents were listed on the cert as being Hector McDonald (Crofter) deceased and Christina McDonald (nee McDonald) deceased

With all those McDonalds difficult to trace...

Have you the census info or do you want it.?

Best wishes

Dear Moscan,

Thankyou SO SO much!!! It is very hard to sort out all of these McDougalls/McDonalds (believe me in other parts of my tree it is worse. I wont even go into it!!!)
And for an Aussie like me its quite confusing and hard to know where to get info.

I have no information on them at all any info you can give me would be greatly greatly appreciated.
Thankyou again,
yours sincerely,
MacDougall

Neil McDonald died August 22 1887 aged 58 years

His father is listed as being Allan McDonald Labourer and his mother as being Mary McDonald nee McFarlane both deceased

His death was registered by his son Hector.

I forgot when posting the information on Grace I forgot to say that she was 83 when she died apologies for that.

now looking for earlier census returns and the children

Best wishes
