WILLIAMS Amelia and BALDWIN Charles John
« on: Monday 30 April 07 22:07 BST (UK) »
Hi

Has anyone got these two people in their family tree.  They married in Sept.quarter 1906 in Newport.

The reason I am interested is that they were witnesses to my grandparents marriage and I wondered what their occupations were and don't really want to buy their marriage certificate as they are not family.

Thanks
Liz

Hi Cardiff

I didn't think of that for some reason, I have access to all the censuses too!  I only want to know their occupations in case they were musicians like my grandparents.

Hello again Cardiff

I've woken up now and realised why I didn't check the 1901 census.  I was assuming that Charles and his wife, who married in 1906 were possibly the same age as my gran and grandad which would make them about 15/16 in 1901 and as I don't know where they came from, it would be very unlikely that I would find them.  Just looked on the Wales 1901 census, but not found anything, there are too many options.
