My Greenwell Brick Wall
« on: Tuesday 01 May 07 01:20 BST (UK) »
My brick wall is my G Grandfathers brother.

He was born in 1873 in Durham as Robert TURNBULL, his mother married again (we think she divorced about 1874, it's mentioned in a letter from my Grandma that her maternal grandparents paid for it, but I cannot prove this as I haven't got to Kew)  his mother Annie then married John GREENWELL and had lots more children.

On the 1901 census for Middlesbrough, Robert is GREENWELL, 26 living with his mother and stepfather altho the step part is not mentioned, and various half brothers and sisters.  His occupation is Boilermaker.

I lose him there, my GGrandad used Greenwell, did Robert keep it?  Talking to the older members of the family no-one even knew he existed!

Please help me find what happened to him.
