My great great grandfather, Michael Denis Ahern, lived in Toornafulla, Co Limerick, although his birthplace may have been Athea. He married Honoria Larkin(daughter of James Larkin and Ellen Connell)
Mickey Denis and Norry had seven children James Michael Denis Daniel William Mary and Ellen.
Ellen taught in Toornafulla before emigrating to Australia.
James(born abt1855) married Brigid Casey(Brosna), and had five sons.
